Camrose hosts the Big Valley Jamboree! The Big Valley Jamboree is a four day country music concert located in Camrose, Alberta, Canada, about one hour away from Edmonton. Held every August long weekend the Big Valley Jamboree draws about 25,000 people every year to Camrose Alberta.
Some of the most famous country music singers that have played at the Big Valley Jamboree include Tim McGraw, Kevin Costner, and Reba McEntire!
The Big Valley Jamboree country music festival has been voted "country music event of the year" by the Canadian Country Music Association in 2001, 2004, 2006, and 2010.
The Big Valley Jamboree has a long history starting in 1992! However, it wasn't always in Camrose. The Big Valley Jamboree started out of province and moved to Alberta Camrose in 1993.

When you Arrive- Bag Check
The Big Valley Jamboree takes safety seriously. Give yourself plenty of time because Big Valley has a mandatory bag check prior to entering the festival. It'll take a good 30-45 minutes to fully check into the premises. If you do not bring a bag there is an "express lane" for people who do not have any extra bags. Check out their website to view a list of prohibited items before you attend the events.
Big Valley Jamboree has daily buses transporting people to Camrose from both Edmonton, Red Deer, and Calgary.
Le Chateau Hotel in Camrose offers free parking for its patrons who stay at the hotel. However, day parking is available for $20/day at Big Valley Jamboree.
